11A It may be our national language(Anagram for hid in). Or it may be in this language. But both these dont fit my 1D solution :( tough day it is!!!!

1D Where a brood of chicks may be hatched.
7D Vessel holding popular English evening drink.
16D Bandit/Outlaw belonging to a band. Robinhoods friends were called this.
17D Teant let out house to new tenant.
19D Old Ted - Anagram(in the past). Moved feebly.
